Sibylla
Marti Olson
Marti Olson Marti Olson is a founding member of Sibylla. Born Martha Pusch in Hartford, CT, Marti graduated from Central Connecticut State University in 1979 with a B.S. in Music Education. In 1981, she received her A.D. in Nursing from Hartford Hospital/Greater Hartford Community College. Marti sang in the Hartford Chorale under Henley Denmead from 1980 to 1991, until she and her husband, Brad Olson, moved to New Hampshire. They finally moved to the DC area in 1994.

In addition to being Sibylla’s rock-solid Alto 2, and dinner provider, Marti has been a member of the Cathedral Choral Society since 1995 (singer-trustee 2000–2004). When not singing, she is a Critical Care Nurse in the CVICU at INOVA Fairfax Hospital, where she also teaches ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) and other Critical Care topics.

Marti’s passions are Brad, Europe (any travel, really), music (obviously), boating, animals, dressage (only got to training level 2), and literature.
